Everybody Has a Story - Day 8: KC Frames

One of the things I like best about a small family business is the quality of service that you get when you do business with them. Take the guys who dug up our front yard last week when our main water line had a leak or the family that owns Margie's Ice Cream shop in Chicago--you can't beat the customer service and quality of their work.

Meet the folks over at KC Frames. With 30+ years of experience and 3 generations of family employees, you can bet they know their frame-making. They've framed everything from stitchery, to art, objects, and pictures. In fact, their slogan is "You name it, We'll frame it".

Their philosophy is to keep their pricing consistently low and to offer a quality product. It's nice to work with a business that has this philosophy--I don't have to worry about having a coupon, or waiting for things to go on sale, and their experience is free. For example, I need about 15 large frames for our portraits we are entering in the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. I can't believe how much I learned today about what kind of frame is best to use, mounting, using glass and matting, AND they are giving us a discount!

In fact, if you are our client, they will give you a discount too--20% off your custom framing order! :)

So check them out. They are located at 520 North Higbee in Idaho Falls. 208-522-7004

Gene Clements (in the Levi shirt) is one of the original owners of the shop. He is also a Certified Picture Framer.
