Hey everyone! It's our first Annual Christmas Card Sale and time to start your holiday savings with amazing prices!


Can you guess which little "Dorothy Hamill" I am? If you don't know who Dorothy Hamill is, then you must have been born after the 1976 Olympics or not a big fan of ice skating. In that case, I recommend the ice skating show with Will Ferrel and Napoleon Dynamite--the name of which escapes me at the moment.

Anyhow, in addition to cards, we offer many more custom products including bookmarks, gift tags, Thank You cards, and CANVAS!!! All of which are on sale, so contact us for more info :)

As for the cards, our print lab has a bunch of great templates (click here to view what is available) or we can design a sweet, custom card for you.

Everybody Has a Story: Day 7-Henry

OK...so I know we were supposed to photograph only people that we didn't know for this project, but our story for today had to reschedule and I've been wanting to post this since Saturday, so I'm cheating. Besides, Jeramy seems to know everyone in this town and he's only met my Grandpa a couple of times since we got married--so it kinda counts--right?

This is my Grandpa, Henry. He lives in Utah and we got to visit him this weekend. When I was a kid my sister, Christy, and I got to spend a week with Grandpa and Grandma during the summer. It was SOOO much fun! We were spoiled rotten that week and we have many memories of spending time with them.

The smell of sawdust reminds me of Grandpa. He made his living as a church carpenter and built LDS churches all over Utah and Southeast Idaho. He had a great big workshop in his basement filled with all sorts of tools and we would make "flippers" or slingshots. Unfortunately, I'd only get to test my flipper out once or twice before hitting something (or someone) that I shouldn't. Let's just say that my aim isn't as good as my Dad's--who has been known to break windows from blocks away with his flipper--but that is another story.

I wish I could show you a picture of Grandma. She was an amazing lady. She died from colon cancer back in 1997 and we all miss her so much. Jessee learned to walk at her viewing. There was this big, glass table in the middle of the lobby of the funeral home and Jess toddled back and forth across that room and never once fell near that table. I think it was because Grandma was watching over her. :)

Grandma used to make us Barbie clothes galore. Christy and I used to play with them for hours. Grandma would make 2 of every outfit, usually one pink and one blue. We would make a big pile and take turns picking out the outfits we wanted while Steven (who was 2-years-old) threw all of our Barbie shoes down the heat vent. It usually ended in Christy and I dragging Steven out of our room and barricading the door with him sitting outside crying. That's what he got for throwing our shoes down the vent, and that's what we got for not letting him play something better than Barbies!

I asked Grandpa how he met Grandma. His sister, Leah, had a bunch of friends and Grandpa said that he picked the best out of the bunch. And yes, it was love at first sight. Love you Gramps!





Can't believe I still have these--too bad I don't have shoes to match :)

Happy Birthday Tribute

We want to wish Shelley's brother a Happy Birthday. We have not done this with any of our other family members, but most of them live close by and we get to celebrate with them sooner or later. Since Steven is so much further away, we want him to have a great day and know that we love and care about him-and maybe, just maybe you'll get those Bugles and Spirogrpah Plus!!

Steven is finishing up his final year in college and will be moving to California this summer for an internship and then he will have his PhD--what a great accomplishment. We are so happy for him and excited for what he has accomplished.

And not that we are keeping track, but he turns the big 3-0 today!! Love ya bro!!!

There are so many things I love about Chicago. The Bongo Room is the best place to go for brunch (can you say Lemon Raspberry Pancakes and Chocolate Stuffed French Toast?!), MoJo Spa as the yummiest handmade cosmetics and soaps, and Margie's is the place to be for late-night ice cream runs! But of all my faves, my most favorite thing in Chicago is my brother Steven!

Meet Steven and his cat Matou (named after the cafe Steven lives above)! This summer he will finish up his schooling...and hopefully his dissertation :) at DePaul University. Then it's off to LA for one final internship at Children's Hospital Orange County. Here are a few of our faves--luv ya bro!

Fun in Chicago

We just spent a couple of days with Shelleys' brother in Chicago. It was a fun visit and we did lots of cool things and saw lots of cool places. Here is a teaser picture from getting some night shots of the city. We were trying to do some cool shots and we thought this one was funny.
